Practice
Fans can watch the players warm up and practice daily on the Practice Fields at the Peoria Sports Complex. Practice field gates open in the morning and are free of charge. It is a great opportunity to watch the players in an up close and relaxed setting.

Macayo's Mexican Kitchen
No trip to Arizona for Spring Training is complete without enjoying the best tasting Mexican food around. Macayo's Mexican Kitchen is a Valley of the Sun tradition, serving delicious chimichangas, tacos and enchiladas in town since 1946. Before or after the Mariners game, fans can visit any either of our Northwest Valley locations in 59 th Ave & Bell Rd. in Glendale or in Surprise at Bell Rd & Reems Rd www.macayo.com
McDuffys
Positioned south of Bell road and just across the street from the Peoria Sports Complex, Spring Training home of the Mariners and Padres, McDuffy's is a complete entertainment experience.
Not only does McDuffy's showcase a large dining room and offer an extensive menu of delicious food that is family friendly and dynamic, but it is also an extremely popular destination for active adults looking to socialize and celebrate. The separate, stylish, granite and mirrored wrap-around Lounge area of McDuffy's features a wide selection of draft beers, specialty drinks and a full line of quality spirits. Dynamic wall displays support a mix of multi-sized and shaped screens, showcasing sports events from it's extensive sports satellite capabilities, music videos and crowd pleasing highlights.
Guests are provided with numerous options to experience a total evening of dining, music and entertainment, including spacious booths, two outdoor patios, a semi private VIP area, and a mezzanine "viewing area" overlooking the dancing activities. www.mcduffys.com
No Need To Buy Tickets Ahead For Most Padres Games
Fans are real down on the Padres in ’09. I know. I live in San Diego. The team has slashed its payroll and is in the process of being sold. Tickets here are expensive. Save your money on the convenience fees and buy day of game at the box office or from a scalper at below face value out front. The only exception: when the Cubs visit.
