Add a Few Days to Your Trip When you come to see the Washington Nationals at spring training in Viera/Melbourne, please add on a few days to your trip to enjoy our beaches, historic downtown districts and maybe catch a launch along Florida's Space Coast. For more information about our fine dining, fun activities, golfing and cultural events, please go to our website: www.melpb-chamber.org
Don’t Worry About Buying Tickets in Advance The Nationals don’t draw well. You will probably find someone out front who will give you a great seat for $5. Joe Connor, Author of A Fan’s Guide To The Ultimate Spring Training Experience, www.modernerabaseball.com
Space Coast Stadium Space Coast Stadium doesn't offer much protection from the elements, neither rain nor sun nor wind. The stadium food is top notch and reasonably priced and it's easy to get stuff signed by players.
Muddy Parking Lot At Space Coast Stadium if it has recently rained, you will probably be asked to park elsewhere and walk since the field normally used for parking turns into mud quickly. The upside is that there is a lot of places to park for free (stadium parking isn't free) in the area if you don't mind walking 1/2 a mile to a mile to get to the stadium.
