Tips

Back Fields
There is always a lot of players that stay in the back fields and workout when the team is on the road.
Jim - President Mets Booster Club

Admire The Murals
Take some time before the game or between innings to admire the murals on the walls, honoring former Mets.

Traffic Delays
Anyone planning on going to Spring Training games at Tradition Field for the first time... If traveling I-95 south and exiting at St Lucie West Blvd (or anyone who plans on traveling eastbound St Lucie at all) be prepared for tremendous traffic delays. If you plan on arriving just at game time, allow yourself an extra 30-45 minutes travel time. An hour would be better.

Grandstand Is Off Limits Without A Ticket
If you buy a seat in the berm or bleachers you're stuck there. They have a separate entrance - Gate C in right field - and no access to the grandstand. www.SpringTrainingConnection.com

Don't wait until tickets go on sale to the public
Don't wait until tickets go on sale to the public. Call the box office first. Sometimes they have plans that will allow you to purchase tickets long before the public gets a chance to buy them. I just reserved seats for ten games this spring and they don't go on sale until 1/23 (that's 46 days prior to public sales). Of course these are Mets tickets and I live in Port Saint Lucie so it was convenient for me to do so. Good luck.

Manuel eager to see Arias play
Athleticism and versatility were the products of the Jeff Francoeur trade. Those benefits came neatly packaged in the form of infielder Joaquin Arias, whom the Mets received from the Rangers late Tuesday night in exchange for Francoeur.

Duda starts in left field in debut
Because Triple-A Buffalo has been fighting for a playoff spot, and because Lucas Duda has played a significant role in that quest, Duda was wholly unsure if the Mets would ask him to make his Major League debut this September.
