Floyd may return on Saturday
Cliff Floyd appears close to returning to the team after being on the 15-day disabled list since April 9 following surgery on his right knee. Floyd took an extended stint in the batting cage prior to Friday's game, with manager Joe Maddon carefully watching every swing.

Rays slam Jays in 13th
Despite blowing a three-run lead in the ninth inning, the Rays stormed back in the 13th to defeat the Blue Jays, 8-3, at Rogers Centre on Thursday. With the victory, Tampa Bay (18-16) took the rubber match of the series and has beaten Toronto (17-19) of five of six meetings this year.
