Tip of the Day

A Fan-Friendly Ballpark With Fan-Friendly Ushers
The Brewers' spring training ballpark is often referred to as a hidden gem and that's partially because the team perennially ranks near the bottom in Cactus League home attendance. So, excepting for when the Cubs pay a visit, you don't need to pay for tickets in advance. And when you do buy them, the cheap seats will do just fine as the ushers in Maryvale are as lenient as they come. On days that crowds are sparse you can sit where you like when you like regardless of what your ticket says. Or you can choose to stay put, as there's not really a bad seat in the house.
Graham Knight, author of the Arizona Spring Training Ballpark Guide

"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring".
Rogers Hornsby
